Story of the world-week 4

We started this week reading Story of the World chapter 2.  We completed a narration, the map and coloring page.  There are so many books that supplement SOTW about ancient Egypt.  The ones we read were:

Then, we made the model of The Nile River.  I will post updated pictures in a couple weeks when (if) the grass grows.

Here is our Nile one week later....

And now, we get to the part where the boys shine!  FIGHTING!  They each had a turn being the white crown king and defeating the other.

Of course, the fighting went on LONG after the history lesson was over!
