History-Week 3

I remember now why I love Story of the World so much!  This week we read Chapter 1 of Story of the World.  We wrote and illustrated narrations, colored the fertile crescent on our maps.  We also read The Boy of the Painted Cave, which the boys have really enjoyed.Image result for the boy of the painted cave image

We also sewed "animal skin" bags like the nomads.

Then, we made "cave paintings" with the cousins.  They also went outside and gathered food like nomads.
