Week 30-TOG

History: This week the main thread of the history was the people and events of the Punic Wars. We also focused a little on the lives and tactics of Roman soldiers.

Literature: Annsley is continuing with In Search of a Homeland and Seth started Benjamin's Secret Journal.

Dictation: Dictation this week was The Lord's Prayer because we were talking about Jesus's ministry to the disciples. I realized that Seth had never memorized this and so it was also on our memory CD this week.
Writing: This week we wrote about Hannibal and his role in the Punic Wars. We will continue to use the IEW, unit 4 type writing for the rest of the year.
Bible: The focus this week was on the miracles of Jesus and we read Matthew 8-12, making a lapbook of some of the miracles.
Evaluation: The kids did the fill in the blanks quiz on the Punic Wars for the dialectic level this week.
Notebooking pages:

Fine Arts:We made an aqueduct this week.
